The key tail risk is oil. Prices appear artificially suppressed by effective Chinese demand rationing, and the snap-back risk is real. Crude at $140 to $150, arguably the fair level given current geopolitical conditions around the Iran conflict, would carry severe inflationary and recessionary implications for the developed world. Bitcoin would likely face short-term headwinds in such a stagflationary scenario. Yet it is precisely that environment, with central banks impotent in the face of supply-driven inflation, where the long-term case for a fixed-supply asset is most compelling.<\/p>\n\n
Beyond the macro noise, there are pockets of genuine innovation. Hyperliquid continues to post strong volumes and is seeing real adoption for pre-IPO price discovery, with SpaceX pricing on-chain the most visible example.
